The Centre des Monuments du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg (hereinafter "CML") is responsible for the management, enhancement, and promotion of the Beaufort Castles, Larochette Castle, and the Gallo-Roman site "Ricciacum" in Dalheim. It operates under an agreement with the Ministry of Culture.
The CML is recruiting, for immediate entry or as agreed, a Project Manager (m/f) under a permanent contract (40 hours per week).
Main Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for creating, organizing, and coordinating cultural and artistic events for the CML. Your role will be essential in increasing the visibility of the monuments and encouraging public engagement in the proposed activities.
Your tasks will include:
Development of the event program: Designing and implementing a diverse cultural events program (exhibitions, concerts, conferences, guided tours, workshops, etc.).
Event logistics management: Organizing the logistical aspects of events (selection of service providers, venue management, team coordination, etc.).
Partnerships and collaborations: Working closely with cultural institutions, artists, associations, and other local and international partners to enrich the program.
Budget management: Preparing and monitoring allocated budgets for each event, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to deadlines.
Contribution to CML’s development: Making proposals and recommendations for future initiatives based on structural changes and field needs analysis.
Profile and Skills:
Strong organizational skills.
Creativity and ability to design engaging and diverse events.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
Good knowledge of Luxembourg's cultural sector and its local and international networks.
Financial and budget management skills.
Understanding of communication and cultural marketing principles.
Ability to work in a team and manage relationships with various stakeholders.
Sensitivity to historical buildings and sites.
Required Qualifications:
Degree and/or professional experience in cultural management, cultural tourism, history, or art history.
Strong command of Luxembourg’s three administrative languages and English.
A valid driving license is mandatory.
