The Centre des Monuments du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg (hereinafter "CML") is responsible for the management, enhancement, and promotion of selected castles and heritage sites in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It operates under an agreement with the Ministry of Culture.
The CML is recruiting, for immediate entry or as agreed, a General Coordinator (m/f) under a permanent contract (40 hours per week).
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the CML Board of Directors, the General Coordinator will carry out the following tasks:
Administrative and financial management of the CML.
Supervision and coordination of personnel across the various sites managed by the CML.
Development of promotional and communication strategies for the different sites, as well as tailored cultural and commercial programs to enhance visitor experience and strengthen the visibility, attractiveness, and influence of the CML.
Implementation of these strategies and programs as approved.
Profile and Skills
Strong managerial skills.
Project management capabilities, including drafting action plans, setting performance indicators, and conducting regular evaluations based on these indicators.
Budget management skills and basic knowledge of accounting principles, as well as proficiency in common office software.
Sensitivity to historical buildings and heritage sites.
Understanding of communication and cultural marketing principles.
Required Qualifications
University degree and/or professional experience in cultural management, cultural tourism, history, or art history.
Strong command of Luxembourg’s three administrative languages and English.
